Comment:
When using Autoconf 2.54+ these two macros are 
acually ignored, since an obsolete way to check
whether they are present in `configure.in' was 
used. Consequently, no special support for dlopened
modules and building Win32 DLLs may be requested.
This patch seems to fix the problem completely.
