I'm already working with coolo on that if you're interested in helping out. I'm implementing some macro stuff in unsermake to automatically generate a shared library + binary/module pair for kdeinit based on a flag in the makefile.
I've got it tentatively working right now, but now that the general idea works, I need to do some work on doing it properly.
Know any python? =)
