Hi Bob,

I have verified that CVS libtool (plus patches submitted this evening) compile under Cygwin. I have the testsuite running under Cygwin now, and it seems that there will be a few failures.

Great! Thankyou for testing.

MinGW compilation should be practically identical to Cygwin compilation yet MinGW is now failing miserably. I have attached a build log from MinGW since I am completely burnt out this evening, but perhaps some folks from Great Britian may want to take a look.

I will release 1.9d after fixing the mkdir_p issue, and use that as a baseline for testing on all the architectures I have access to. Not until next week though unfortunately.

But it seems that we should all be using FreeBSD:

All 109 tests passed

Or darwin, since Peter and I both seem to use that most of the time. It appears that we have given the BSDs a bit of extra attention :-o

Cheers,
        Gary.
