Hi Peter,

I hate to be a rules lawyer :-( Sorry for being a PITA, but the FSF has good
intentions when imposing the rules...

Thanks. This problem hits at the start of every year, and is difficult to
stay on top of. I'm not sure how to make it any easier either :-( I use
update-copyright in my save-file-hooks from Emacs which makes emacs prompt
to ask if I want to update the copyright years if the current year is
missing whenever I save a file, but that doesn't help non-Emacs users too
much.

Okay, NP. ISTR that there is mention of marking non-copyrightable ChangeLog
entries as such by writing ``Trivial change'' at the start of the entry text
somewhere in the GCS. But I can't find any mention of it atm. Perhaps it is
just a convention from some other project I've worked on... Regardless, that
seems like a good idea. If you (or any Libtool maintainer) agrees, please
add a note to HACKING.

In any case, if you have time, can you please double check the correctness of
the files whose copyrights you changed?

Cheers,
        Gary.
