Sorry for the delay, I've been too busy to give libtool the amount of
attention that I would like of late :-(
Yes, I am completely happy with the preopen.c change. If no one beats
me to it, I need to find some time to test the dlopen.c change before I
can accept or reject. If you'd like to commit in two parts, then
feel free to commit the preopen.c part of the patch right away.
