as in:
./configure
I couldn't use downloadable packages (like yours) because
/usr/local is for global admins, so I have to configure for
/u/local. [Cannot copy the files, either, because they contain
compiled in path names.] I presume you saw my later patch?
That failed, too, because some library was not findable.
I gave up and am at home now. Thanks for your suggestion, tho.
