Hi Pavel, Gary, et al.,
I don't want to imply that we shouldn't fix libtool.
I just strongly recommend against using weirdo characters
in path names because it is so hard to parse stuff already
that one courts problems with weirdo characters.
So, we should make the fix you suggest using the timing
Gary talks of and our customers would still be advised
against using non-POSIX characters in their path names :-).
