ltconfig for s/390

Hello all,

I'm trying to install RRDtool on Linux running on a Mainframe.  My problem
is when I run configure I get the error:

checking host system type... Invalid configuration `s390-unknown-linux-gnu':
machine `s390-unknown' not recognized
.....<snip>.....
ltconfig: you must specify a host type if you use `--no-verify'
Try `ltconfig --help' for more information.
configure: error: libtool configure failed

I'm guessing this is an ltconfig problem.  Has anyone already ported
ltconfig for the Mainframe or is there anyone who can help me?
