I have removed all of Red Hat's patches for FC 4 (and hence RHEL 5 and
beyond), but it may be causing some multilib-related build problems in our
build roots.
I would like to either receive approval from the list to re-enable
libtool-1.4.2-multilib.patch (which I posted some months ago, but was
generally not accepted), receive approval to enable libtool-1.5.10.multilib2
(which I posted recently), or be advised to wait for a different approach
for multilib to be made available in branch-1-5 (possibly by incorporating
.multilib2 into 1.5.12).
[*] We still provide support for and updates to these six operating systems.
Previous operating systems, such as Red Hat Linux 9 and below and Fedora
Core 1, are no longer supported or maintained by Red Hat. Updates for these
operating systems can only be made through the third parties such as the
Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/), which I do not speak for.
(Still catching up on Thanksgiving backlog.)
