Hi there!
You may want to have a look at
http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/interix-wgcc which is a MSVC wrapper
i wrote. It feels just like gcc, or at least it should ;o). So far
everything works fine (i'm using interix / SUA, but cygwin port should
be very easy). I'm just about looking into shared libs with libtool
(without they work fine). With the newest libtool realease shared libs
seem to work out of the box somehow, but not perfect... Also i need to
hack Automake to include .dll files in install processes or find some
other way to include them.
All other stuff should work fine with it, and i built numerous packages
(open and close source) with it. (The output is native Win32, without
any dependecies, just like cccl, except that there is a little (only
some Kb's) support library (static) which gets linked, to abstract some
ANSI / ISO differences for C).
You may want to give the latest version a try.
