Do you think that the patch looks good ? I'm porting more and more libs, and
creating the dll by hand is quite bothering. So i'm planning to works a bit
on how to support cegcc in libtool. The problem is that, for me, libtool is
some kind of black voodoo magic. So i don't know if it is reasonnable or not
(i didn't write that patch)
Not knowing anything in particular about 'cegcc', I don't have any
philosophical or technical issues with the patch except that it should
be submitted by its author so we know who wrote it and that they
intended it to be contributed to GNU libtool. It is also useful to
have a volunteer who is willing to test libtool to make sure that it
works (and continues to work) for this target.
I suggest that you find out who wrote this patch and convince them to
submit it as an official libtool patch against libtool 2.X.
