Documentation help is always appreciated.

However, there are a number of pending patches specifically for the
linux->cygwin and linux->mingw cross cases that are still outstanding.
These patches, once reviewed and accepted, will change in some ways the
"right" way to do a cross build for these $hosts. (Mostly, they
*should* help make it "just work" like it does for other $build/$host
combinations).

But don't let that stop you from contributing documentation that is
accurate for *existing* libtool. It's always easier to update
documentation to reflect changes than to create it from scratch. So if
you want to do the hard part (e.g. "from scratch") that'll make my job
easier later!
