New issue 2657 by address@hidden: font kerning on Windows is broken
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2657
\version "2.15.41"
#(set-global-staff-size 60)
% kerning on Windows is broken
% (letter pairs VA and Wo are too far apart in this example):
\markup { VALID Tom Won }
% interestigly, it works for some fonts:
\markup \override #'(font-name . "DejaVu Serif") { VALID Tom Won }
%{
I've checked that the following fonts arent' properly kerned on Windows:
Lily default serif font (New Century Schoolbook?), Callibri, Minion Pro,
Georgia, Linux Biolinum G.
On the other hand, these fonts work: Arial, DejaVu Serif, DejaVu Sans.
What's most important, Lily's default serif font is kerned properly when
the score is compiled on LilyDev (Ubuntu 10.04).
