Hi Keith,
sorry for a possibly silly question, but I'm not sure what's the status of
this issue. As far as i can see, the latest version of the patch works
quite well. I understand that we would like to have a new
melisma_signal_engraver to decouple handling of melismas from ties and
slurs; however, why not push this patch as-is and open another issue
for "extracting" melisma_signal_engraver?
