Right.  And this is still subject to change in the sense that the
font-family problem has not yet been solved.  Currently, you also have to
say \property Staff.Rest \override #'font-family = #'ancient to get the
above working.  But this may eventually change.  I am planning to write a
tutorial section on mensural notation as soon as it is basically working,
but that will be most probably not before July.
