Lilypond 1.6.0 fink package for MacOS X now available

I'm pleased to announce that a fink package for lilypond 1.6.0 is now in 
the fink CVS repository.

To try it:

- Get the Fink package manager from http://fink.sourceforge.net
- Get the Lilypond package description by enabling the "unstable" tree 
in fink and executing "fink selfupdate-cvs"
  (In my last announcement, I had suggested "fink selfupdate", which 
does not necessarily offer to try CVS).
- Install the Lilypond package by executing

        fink install lilypond

[Note that the package is now named lilypond, NOT lilypond-unstable]. 
That's it! The command should compile & install all Lilypond 
prerequisites (python, TeX, X11, ghostscript) and then Lilypond itself.

Please let me know about your success or failure in using this package. 
The more feedback I get, the sooner the lilypond package can be folded 
into the main fink distribution. I've run some examples to establish 
that the package should work in principle, but I'm not sufficiently 
familiar with lilypond and the examples to be truly sure that everything 
works as it should.

P.S.: Would anybody be interested in taking over the lilypond-unstable 
fink package? I was not able to give this the attention and regular 
updates it deserved, so unless somebody is interested in taking over, 
it's probably better to retire that package now that a stable package is 
available.
