Building Lilypond on Cygwin

I followed the instructions at http://lilypond.org/web/devel/packaging.html for building under Cygwin.  After about 45 minutes of crunching, the process stopped with an error.  Two questions:

 

1.  Is there a log file of what is happening under mknetrel?  If so, where is it located?

 

2.  Is there any way to "undo" the happenings of mknetrel?
