End of line spacing

I'm working on making some strange music (mostly with wierd keys and
meters) where the basic drum beat is put on a seperate staff at the
bottom of the page.

The problem is I make a new staff, there is some spacing after the
last bar (to the endof the line) of the music above. It seems to be
the width of the time signiture. I have an elaborate example of what
I'm trying to do.

I have also posted my code at the Lilypond Snippet Repository for
everyone to look at. http://lsr.dsi.unimi.it/LSR/ Their version is
2.6.3, so the page looks a little different, but basically the same.
