Hmm. This situation is quite complicated, since the input file is produced via a python script which produces a lilypond-book file which produces a texinfo file. The end result is that the .texi file appears to have extra "@end html" at the end of every entry. But I'm not certain if the bug is in our buildscript/lys-to-texi.py , or in lilypond-book, or in texinfo. And it doesn't help that "make web" automatically deletes the .texi file, even if the build failed on that file!

You're right; I should investigate and produce a proper bug report. But I'm going to wait until next week, because at the moment I really don't want to touch texinfo, makefiles, or anything other than the pure documentation.
