Replying to myself here... When I ctrl-c to kill the compilation I get

Now I can see that there was a commit 

71cea6af77bf3d639dcfd8ad09fd235aab22c5f7 - Doc-hu: trying to build PDF

Where Denes changed a gnumakefile and removed a 'PDF' reference line.

Could this be the cause?
