I think we should have the English aliases as well.  After all, all the
rest of the LilyPond language is based on English, so accepting the
language names in English seems reasonable, and it provides a way of
writing ASCII-only input.

Language names in LaTeX are english, german, french, spanish ... so at
least the people using Lilypond-book in connection with LaTeX will have
some naive expectation work out when using these aliases.

And frankly, I consider

\language "deutsch"

a slightly odd combination.

Something like define-language-alias, probably.
