Hi CaioFor me (on Fedora) these two requirements are enough (to launch gitk or lily-git):
https://github.com/fedelibre/LilyDev/tree/master/mkosi#running-graphical-applications-from-the-container(I've just noticed a bug in the PATH variable in LilyDev. I'll fix it soon.)
If you need help with translation, let me know. I would start with updating the website, then move to the manuals. Manuals in decreasing priority order: learning, notation, usage.Il giorno ven 1 mag 2020 alle 11:57, Caio Barros <address@hidden> ha scritto:
I managed to fix the issue with lily-git. I needed to run the followingcommand in the host: $ xhost +local: got that from https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Chroot#Run_graphical_applications_from_chrootEm sex., 1 de mai. de 2020 às 09:23, Caio Barros <address@hidden>escreveu:Hello, everyone!I'm looking into start contributing to lilypond. I can help with code and also, yesterday I noticed that the website in some languages is missing thelink to the 64-bit unofficial version for Mac OS and I was told thatthe portuguese translation is not maintained. I can help with that too. Ifyou have any urgent things that need to be done, please let me know.Anyway, I'm trying to setup the lilydev container and when I try to runlily-git I get the error in the email subject, i.e. Error in startup script: couldn't connect to display ":0"$DISPLAY both in the host and the container is ":0". I didn't have tcl/tk installed on the host (I'm running Arch) but even after installing it, itdidn't work. Any suggestions? I'll try to run the VM for now. Caio Barros
