I was working on updating the italian website last night (on the
translation branch) and I saw a strange error related to texidoc
snippets when running 'make doc'.

I don't have time to investigate.. perhaps updating the italian
texidoc would solve the issue?
Trying to reproduce this here, build is running...

Completed without errors for me.

My steps:

git checkout translation
./autogen.sh --noconfigure
mkdir build
cd build
../configure --enable-gs-api
make && make doc


I've just run make&&make doc again.
I don't get my previous error anymore. For the records, it was this one:

I'm now getting another error, even though the built docs seem complete.
I wonder if it's related to the fact I'm using Texlive 2020.
