What about adding

```
<dir>.../lilypond/XX.YY.ZZ/fonts/otf</dir>
```

at the top of `00-lilypond-fonts.conf`?  According to the maintainer
of FontConfig, first directory gets served first, and the `00-*` file
is read before anything else.
