It does - it IS unjustified (i.e. leftified). But the postscript is still an
entire page.

If you prefer lilypond over finale there is a chance that you might also prefer
LaTeX over word/soffice/whatever - and I hece suggest that you use lilypond-book
instead - solving the problems automatically.
(LaTeX is a text-typesetting tool in the same spirit as lilypond: You enter the
text along with some formatting codes in a text editor and compile into a
dvi-file. Lilypond book is a tool that extracts lilypond code from a latex
document and replaces it with note symbols)
