Welcome, Mitch! Sounds like you did everything right. Two things you might want to try:1. Restart Terminal -- sometimes, the alias doesn't "link" in Terminal until you restart a session. 2. Use the full executable path to lilypond -- it's likely something similar to /sw/bin/lilypond.
