Huh?  What do you mean with `your interpretation'?  I'm almost sure
that I do not see what you mean, but just to be very clear, the PATH
snippet:

    include-mvment1:/Users/spamguy

is interpreted by LilyPond (and probably everybody else) as, well, a
PATH snippet with two search directories: ./include-mvmnt1 and
/User/spamguy.
