Do You write it with latex?
Then the easiest way could be using lilypond-book.
Have a look at the documentation under:

    9.2 Integrating LaTeX and music

png produced by lilypond is good for an overview or as a preview, but
the higher quality You get with .ps or directly with running
lilypond-book.
