Ouch! I think I still have a lot of things to learn :-)
Your solution solves great one of the problems (the notes in the midi
file), but I still would like to get a better approach of the
"engraving" part.
The problem is that the beam doesn't go "further" enough. Please check
this:

I want the beam to be completely over the last c, but it ends half-way
between the last two c's.
Yes: I am very obsessive (specially with my music, hehehehe ;-) ).
