The easiest way to automate it is probably to do something like
(assuming the piece repeats this pattern 12 times)

barlines = { \repeat 12 {s8*7 \bar ":" s8*7 \bar ":" s8*11 | }

This should of course be
barlines = { \repeat unfold 12 {s8*7 \bar ":" s8*7 \bar ":" s8*11 | }

which you can add in one of your staves (since a \bar statement
applies to all staves, you can add it anywhere):

\score{
  ...
  \new Staff <<
    \barlines
    \ordinaryMusicInThisStave
  >>
...
}

Apparently one just adds a few more "override-auto-beam-setting":
  \time 7/16
  #(override-auto-beam-setting '(end * * 7 16) 2 16)
  #(override-auto-beam-setting '(end * * 7 16) 4 16)
Sorry for bothering you with so simple matters.

Can one insert automated dotted bar-lines within the measure as well?

Not without some scheme code. I suggest using manual barlines instead.

OK. But it would nice to be able to automate it. It will be used for compound meters that will be repeated through the whole piece. For example, in the Bulgarian "Sedi Donka", one has 25 = 7 + 7 + 11, where 7 and 11 are also compound.
