A used the Linux installer to install 2.8.3 over my existing
self-compiled 2.7.28 (without uninstalling first...). I don't seem to
have problems with very big PDF files, but I now have problems with
lilypond-book when I use 'psbook' on the ps file. This Linux program
rearranges the order of the pages to make it easy to create a booklet.
When I try to view the resulting ps (or try to covert to PDF) it gives
the error message:

Error: /rangecheck in --get--

This didn't give me problems when I used 2.7.28. Could this have
something to do with the mix of gs versions (LP uses 8.53 and I have
8.15 on my system)?

Cheers,
Jos
