fingerings collide with beams

Hi,

I have a problem with fingerings colliding with beams. 
I searched the mailing lists for some solution and found these two posts
with the same problem:

The posts are over a year old and apparently the problem was reported as
a bug... so is the bug still there for v.2.9.7?
