lilypond-book in Turkish-Help please!

Hi,
I had trouble running lilypond-book with:
\usepackage[turkish]{babel}
it kept printing something like "=12" after the music examples..
I edited by hand the *.tex file, and by blind-guess method, I commented out 
the lines:
address@hidden
then it was OK
can anybody help to understand and correct this in a more elegant way?
