Does that mean the set of notes in a scale, or the set of sharps or flats used
to indicate this? And what do you call the piece of soft iron put on the
poles of a magnet, or a part of a motor?

The accent is written if it's a question, but not if it's a relative
conjunction, nor if it's going into my mouth. If it went into *his* mouth,
it's accented on the *second* o. ¿Cómo como? Como como comó.

Tough one. "Sostenida" is a participle of "sostener", and participles decline
like adjectives. But "bemol" is not an adjective. And "diesis" would be
feminine if one followed the rule (which generally holds in French) that
masculine or feminine Greek or Latin nouns keep their gender, but I've heard
people say "el Génesis" and "el Apocalipsis". (Neuters do whatever they want.
