If you look into section "Overview of markup commands" you will among others find the \hspace command:\mark \markup{ \musicglyph #"scripts.segno" \hspace #1.0 \musicglyph #"scripts.coda" }

Concerning center-aligning a segno sign and a coda sign above a bar line, the last code that you gave has aligned them vertically. I would prefer an horizontal alignment. I tried to do it by erasing "\center-align" and it worked, but the two signs were stuck together, without space. I would like to know how to make a space between the two signs?
