You mean something with  "Stem length-fraction" ?

I was thinking more of Beam #'positions, because that's what I'm used to using,  but #'length-fraction works just as well.

Thanks for drawing it to my attention. I hadn't noticed it in the reference (or possibly understood its function) - it's solved a problem I've been having.
