I’m typesetting some harp music, and I’d really
like to be able to setup the automatic accidentals to be kind of a mix of
modern and forget – I want accidentals on every measure like modern, but
I want the cautionary cancellation to appear the first time the non-accidental note
appears (regardless of octave), no matter how many measures have occurred
between the accidental and the cancellation. This makes it very easy to
see where pedal changes need to occur.
Is there an easy way to do this automatically? I’d
really rather not have to go add the cautionary accidentals to the notes
myself, as I’m bound to miss some.
