AFAIK, those fixes are no longer necessary.  It is sufficient to add
the proper fonts to `.fonts' (normally, this means the Emmentaler OTF,
Aybabtu OTF, and the feta-alphabet PFB fonts).

Tested very superficially with Inkscape 0.45.1 a few days ago.
