Maybe it's better to say "nobody is currently working on midi2ly".
But hey, lilypond is an open-source project and if someone with enough
knowledge of midi,lilypond, and python thinks he can and wants to
continue development he's free to do so.
I think both midi2ly and musicxml2ly are tools that can be useful in
certain situations, and deserve active support. Maybe I should learn
some Python myself, so that I can fix such issues myself.
