I've attached a screenshot of Ubuntu and Windows 7 running concurrently on a 1 gig netbook (yeah, believe it or not).

has a somewhat different approach to virtualization, described here:

In a nutshell, the linux kernel is recompiled as a native windows app, and it's much faster than either virtualbox or vmware.

- if anybody wants to try it and has questions, ask away. It works unbelievably well - I've used vmware, and I wouldn;t dream of switching back.
