I missed that point.
IMHO it is worth mentioning this as a warning in NR 4.1.3 and 4.1.5
(for top-margin, bottom-margin and left-margin, right-margin,
inner-margin, outer-margin, binding-offset, indent and short-indent
respectively). The difference between modifying these variables and
their corresponding top-margin-default, bottom-margin-default, etc.
should also be explained there.
