With LilyPond 2.16,
foo = #(make-dynamic-script #{ \markup \line {\hspace #-2.6 \normal-text
\typewriter \fontsize #0 \italic \bold
\override #'(font-name . "Zapf Chancery") "foo" } #})
{ c\foo }
appears to do _something_ here.
