The space given to grace notes can be adjusted using the spacing-increment
property of Score.GraceSpacing.
graceNotes = {

}

\override Score.GraceSpacing #'spacing-increment = #2.0
\graceNotes
\revert Score.GraceSpacing #'spacing-increment
