Most of my work with LilyPond is resetting short anthems or similar secular
works in forms suitable for my small choir. The longest work was a full-length
pantomime using a medley of Sullivan's music from the Savoy operas of Gilbert
and Sullivan. The pieces had to be totally reset as the words were different,
and sometimes the voices were too. The whole vocal score was 71 A4 pages, but
I compiled each of the 20 numbers separately so there was no exorbitantly long
compile time.
