If I'm correctly understanding what you want, this seems to do it:
\defineBarLine ".|:-|." #'("|." ".|:" "")
\relative {
f'1 \bar ".|:-|." \break
\repeat volta 2 { g1 } \break
a1
b1 \bar "|."
}
