Search/Replace in Frescobaldi

I'm trying to use Frescobaldi's Search and Replace function, and it doesn't 
seem to work.

I use Edit|Replace... and it pops up a small box at the bottom of the source 
code pane. When 
I put text in the "Search" box, it highlights all occurrences of that text in 
the source code, and 
tells me how many occurrences it found. Great!

So then I put text in the "Replace" box. When I click the "Replace" button ... 
nothing happens. 
When I click the "All" button ... nothing happens.

So what am I missing? And more specifically, how would I delete all occurrences 
of a 
particular string from my source code with Frescobaldi?
