Hello fellow ’ponders!
following up to the previous demonstration here’s a montage of different options for the animation:
The script is now also doing the nescessary logistics behind the whole thing.
The workflow is as such:
1) Include a special file to the score.
2) Set timecodes in your score for synchronisation by setting Score.timestamp to some value in seconds
3) If your file has multiple scores, assign IDs by setting Score.scoreID to some string (optimally inside of a layout block).
4) Optionally put options in special comment blocks (these can be specified on a per score level). All options and more are also available from the commandline.
5) Call the script on your Ly file and your audio file, optionally with some options. Probably should make the audio file specifiable from within the score as well.
That’s it so far, I’m ’ponding off!
