That seems to be the norm these days for any "modern" web site :-( At least it hasn't lost the actual content in the process!
Me? Cynical? :-)As an alternative to discourse, Google Groups? You might even be able to migrate the list email address across! Of course, that would bring its own headaches ... or could you migrate the list address to your own discourse server?
At the end of the day, I'm an old dinosaur and don't want things to change ...
