 I can see the problem too and I agree that it's a Wine bug and even a
regression, so I've created https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53598
for it and will try to debug it more myself if requested or if nothing
happens there.

 But the fact that nobody noticed this so far speaks volumes about the
popularity of MDI and I wouldn't be surprised if Wine developers are not
very motivated to fix support for it in light of this...
