Subject: | [Logs-devel] context relative timeouts |

The one key feature that LoGS is missing that Logsurfer has are relative timeouts on contexts.
I'd appreciate feedback on the following: 1. what is the importance of relative timeouts for contexts?2. If contexts should have relative timeouts, should rules & rulesets also have relative timeouts? (ie. if a rule doesn't match anything within N seconds, kill it)
3. Any objections to adding a seperate priority queue for things with relative timeouts?
Any other thoughts on what LoGS is missing before the first alpha release? I want it to be a rock-solid 0.0.1. :)
<thinking I should get over it and call it "LoGS 2005 Professional Enterprise Edition 9.0">
